Man Utd’s Manuel Ugarte in doubt to face Brentford after suffering knock vs Ecuador

Southampton FC’s players and coaches have donated the wages they earned on the Saturday’s 0-9 home defeat to Leicester City to charity.
According to a club statement, the team had been mulling over how to “put things right for the club’s supporters” at the training centre in the southern English city, Efe news reported.

“As the first step towards that, the group has decided that they wish to donate their wages from the day of the Leicester game to Saints Foundation, in order to help the vital work that is conducted by the charity,” the club said.
Notably, Leicester City on Saturday thrashed the Saints 9-0 at St Mary’s Stadium to equal Manchester United’s record of registering the biggest win in the English Premier League.
Riding on hat-tricks from both Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez, Leicester continue their imperious run in the ongoing competition. The other three goals were scored by Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison.
Chilwell drew the first blood for the guests in the 10th minute of the game, which was followed by another goal in the 17th minute from Tielemans. Within two minutes of the goal, one of the hat-trick heroes Perez netted his first one and City’s third goal. In the 39th minute, Perez scored his second goal of the match.
Just when the game was moving towards the end of the first half Vardy opened his account in the 45th minute.
By the end of the first half, the Foxes were 5-0 up in the game, but their appetite kept them in the hunt. As a result, they put four additional goals in the second half and equaled Manchester United’s 9-0 drubbing of Ipswich Town in 1995.
